ALIGNED SEQUENCES FF domain usually occur in multiple copies within the same protein. FF domains are found in many organisms including H.sapiens, S.cerevisiae, S.pombe, C.elegans and R.norvegicus. FF domains are predicted (by the PHD program) to be alpha-helical in nature. Five members of the FF-domain-containing family of proteins have been characterized. Two members are Rho GTPases (p190 & p190B), and three are linked to splicing (FBP11, PRP40 and CA150).
