CURRENT_MEETING_REPORT_ Reported by Sheri Repucci/Merit Minutes of the Shared Whois Project BOF (WHOIS) A presentation of the current state of the Shared Whois Project was presented, all core processes of the project are complete with some work left on the automation process. The next stage of this project includes converting the X.500 IP schema to that currently being proposed by Glenn Mansfield, Thomas Johannsen, and Mark Knopper. Furthermore, the GSI-NIC has recently brought up Quipu and will be attempting to represent their data in the various schemas and eventually to load their entire database of information into X.500. Future reports on this project will be presented to the IETF community via the OSI-DS working group there will not be a separate Working Group formed for the shared Whois service.
