Chapter 5. Print Dialog

You can open the print dialog by choosing the menu command File->Print.

5.1. Dialog Elements

With Print Destination you can determine whether to send the output to a printer or to write the output into a file. With Print to printer you can select a printer from the list.

With Language Level 2 you can activate the level 2 extensions of the PostScript(R) language. It is recommended to keep this option turned on since it makes the output much smaller. If you have problems with your PostScript(R) interpreter retry it with this option turned off.

With Interpolate you can make the PostScript(R) interpreter interpolate the pixels for a smoother output. This may slow down the print process. This option is only available with the Language Level 2 option turned on.

With Paper Format you can specify the format of the paper used by the printer.

With Print all or Print range you can determine whether to print the whole document or only a range From Page inclusive of To Page.

Number of copies determines how many times each page should be printed.

With Print FAX ribbons you can activate the printing of ribbons on the left and right paper borders which identify the document as facsimile document.
