The IESG approved publication of Tag Image File Format (TIFF) - image/tiff MIME Sub-type Registration as a BCP. Steve to send announcement. 5. The IESG tentatively approved publication of IANA Considerations for LDAP (which does not yet exist) as a BCP. Once version 08 is available, Scott to review and let Steve know if his concerns have been adequately addressed. If so, Steve to send announcement. 6. The IESG approved publication of Signaling Compression as a Proposed Standard. The IESG also approved publication of the following two I-Ds as Informational RFCs: Signaling Compression Requirements & Assumptions SigComp - Extended Operations Steve to send announcement. The IESG approved publication of the following two Internet-Drafts as Proposed Standards: o The Reason Header Field for the Session Initiation Protocol o Session Initiation Protocol Extension for Registering Non-Adjacent Contacts The document Internet Media Types message/sipfrag was removed from the document set and is to be added to the sip-refer document set. Because of this change, Allison to rewrite and submit a new Protocol Action writeup. Bill to provide text for an RFC Editor note correcting an error in the ABNF. Once received, Steve to announce. Steve also to request fast RFC Number assignment for these two documents. 8. The IESG approved publication of A Privacy Mechanism for the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) as a Proposed Standard. The IESG also approved publication of the following two Internet- Drafts as Informational RFCs: o Private Extensions to the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for Asserted Identity within Trusted Networks o Short term requirements for Network Asserted Identity Steve to announce. The IESG felt that Bob Braden was the perfect individual to be the RSVP Parameters Expert. 17. Michelle to send the IANA's list of experts to Steve. Steve will add to the internal IESG Web Page. 18. Jacqueline was asked to extract a set of action items from her notes taken during the IESG retreat. 19. There will be an IESG meeting on Sunday before the Yokohama IETF meeting begins. 20. The following Readling list items were removed from the list of documents ready to be evaluated: o The use of Forward Error Correction in Reliable Multicast (Informational) o Forward Error Correction building block (Experimental) o Layered Coding Transport transport building block (Experimental) 21. Action was deferred on the following items as there are issues to be discussed: o IPv6 Node Information Queries (Proposed Standard) o Security Mechanism Agreement for SIP Sessions (Proposed) o DHCPv6 Options for SIP Servers (Proposed) New Action Items: o Scott to review draft-ietf-ldapbis-iana-08 when available, and let Steve know if concerns have been adequately addressed. o Allison to send in DISCUSS comments on draft-ietf-ipngwg-icmp-name-lookups o Jeff to send in DISCUSS comments on draft-ietf-ipngwg-icmp-name-lookups o Steve will email Jeff Schiller, Steve Bellovin about two security questions, find out who's responsible, and assign document/s. o Harald will plan agenda for next IETF in Minneapolis. o Allison sends revised charter for dccp => DONE o Put Thomas' two additional documents on IESG internal webpage (dhcpv6 and address-default), list the experts o IESG to produce list of "responsibility-free" documents and documents listed under "members" o Jacqueline to provide a collected list of action items from the Doldersum retreat => DONE
