There are separate TracePlus applications available for Windows 3.1 and Win32 platforms, which have identical user interfaces. The new multiple document interface (MDI) sports three different views of the Winsock activity: The API View The Data View The Socket View New version 3 features: The Data View shows data packets in realtime with automatic display formatting, See data packets as they are sent or received by an application. The Socket View tracks socket events over the life of a socket. Configurable API Trace log includes double line, single line or exploding view of API trace records. Start traces automatically when a condition is met (Triggering). Compatiblity with Windows NT 4.0 and the Winsock 1.1 subset of Winsock 2.0 (via the Winsock 2.0 DLL). In addition, anyone purchasing the Win32 product will receive a FREE upgrade that includes support for the new Winsock 2.0 API functions, and TOPA (TracePlus Open Plug-In Architecture). TOPA is an SDK that you can use to create custom protocol analysis modules using data packets obtained from TracePlus. The TOPA modules integrate with the TracePlus user interface.
