Description
FSSocket is a Visual Basic Custom Control that provides communications for your application by allowing the transmission and reception of data through the winsock dynamic link library.

README.WRI				This file.
FSSOCKET.VBX			The FSSocket Custom Control. This file should be 						installed in your /WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory.
FSSOCKET.HLP			The FSSocket Help file. This file should be installed in 						your /WINDOWS directory.
FSSOCKET.LIC			The FSSocket License file. This file should be installed 	or					in your /WINDOWS directory.
FSSOCKET.SIT			The FSSocket Site License file. This file must be 						installed in the same directory as FSSOCKET.VBX.
DEMO/FSTEST/FSTEST.EXE		A short example program showing both the client and 						server capabilities.

FSSocket Features

Ease of use
FSSocket provides a set of properties and events that allow you to configure and control a network connection.   Setting up a connection is as simple as:
	FSSocket1.PortNumber = 7
	FSSocket1.HostAddress = "123.456.44.99"
	FSSocket1.Connected = TRUE
	FSSocket1.Send = "Data to send"
Setting up a server connection is even easier:
	FSSocket1.ListenPort = portnumber
	FSSocket1.Listen = TRUE

Asynchronous operation
Once the connection is made, FSSocket uses only the asynchronous winsock calls.

Multiple Protocol Support
FSSocket supports both TCP and UDP protocols.

Both 16 and 32 bit OCX versions of this control are planned.
