UpTime for Windows, version 3.0 Creative Element =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= UpTime is a small utility that displays the status of a communications connection (such as SLIP / PPP), as well as the amount of time connected, or the cost of the call. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To install, copy the files uptime.exe, comstat.dll, dbpush.dll, and uptime.drf into an appropriate directory, perhaps their own. Launch UpTime, and double- click the plug icon at the bottom of the screen to configure the program. For best results, configure your system so that UpTime is launched whenever a communications program is started, such as in Trumpet Winsock's login script (see below). Example: Use Notepad to add the following line to the file login.cmd (in your trumpet winsock directory): exec "c:\uptime\uptime.exe" (this is assuming that UpTime is located in the directory c:\uptime) If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or ideas, feel free to write the author at any time.
