Unlike other programs the installation steps are completely transparent.
The configuration of your computer isn't changed at installation of the
WebAssistant
automatically. The installation and deinstallation are comprehensible thus
completely for you.
The installation consists essentially
- Decompress of the ZIP archive: MM3-WebAssistant-Proxy-Offline-Browser-Private.en.zip
- Entry of the
WebAssistant as proxy into your browser.
Step-for-Step Instruction
- With decompressing the
WebAssistant ZIP archive you get the folder MM3-WebAssistantPrivate. We suggest to store this folder in your other programs.

The program simply can be started by clicking the file MM3-WebAssistant.jar in the folder MM3-WebAssistantPrivate. After that
WebAssistant starts and a logo appears.
Possible failures:
- Now you get a short introduction after this the license agreements
are displayed to you.
Please, confirm these with: Accept license.
You find this agreement also with Download/License. - Select Start Private Edition.

Entry the proxy into your browser
Please, open the browser now which you want to use when you are surfing with theWebAssistant.
On this browser you switch on the proxy and enter for protocol types HTTP and FTP the IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 8080.
The required proxy configuration is illustrated by a step-by-step description.
Should you ever wish not to use the the
WebAssistant for any particular operations, just deactivate the switched-on proxy.
