Following logs were made with a Kenwood R-5000 receiver and a 400
foot "mini-beverage" antenna strung north to south. After a few
Latin American broadcast logs there are a LOT of maritime utility logs.

4779.7 ECUADOR: NEW STATION: Radio Oriental *0956-1044 9/19 w/
anthem, s/on anmts, into tropical mx w/ frequent IDs as
"Oriental, tu radio" & TCs. Several store ads. At 1030
greeted anyone listening to SW in Ecuador and played one song
of HC folk mx, then back to tropical songs. This is the 1360
MW station in Tena (as listed in the WRTH). Thanks to Hans
Johnson & Dave Valko for finding this one.

4885 COLOMBIA: Ondas del Meta 1027-1101 9/18 w/ "Hora Super" time
anmts (refering to the Super network that this stn belongs
to), tropical mx, ads for two different "medicina naturalista"
clinics (Both of which can cure sexual impotency, among other
things. Combined w/ last week's log of Orteguaza, I'm
beginning to see that natural medicine is a big thing in
Colombia.). Several almacen ads also. Nx at 1050. Good signal.

4960 ECUADOR: Radio Bahai 1052-1102 9/19 almost certainly this
station w/ OM in Quechua & bits of rural Ecuadorian folk mx.
Very strong. Just like a few days ago when it was heard on
        49*5*0 kHz.

5120 UNID: 1104-1114 9/19 w/ OM/YL in Spanish & ranchera mx. Too
weak to make out much, but would bet this is Radio Alajuela,
Costa Rica 4x1280 harmonic which has been heard several times
over the past five or six years on this frequency w/ ranchera
        mx.

6137.4 PERU: Radio La Voz de Alto Mayo 0933-0955 9/18 what appeared
to be the end of the s/on anmt at tune-in, into huaynos.
Later had greetings for DXers Dave Valko & John Wilkins of
USA, David Foster of Australia, Takayuki Inoue of Japan. and
someone in Sao Paulo. Good signal, but heavy QRM from stronger
Radio Santa Cruz, Bolivia on 6135.
