Subject: Where else can I buy tape?

Okay, no one out here replied to my query as to what kind of tape is used

on the stunt kite, but after looking through my Into the Wind catalog, I
think it is Ripstop Tape. Any corrections?

Question number 2. Since the nearest kite shop is 40 miles away, and I
would like to get my kite flying asap, what other kinds of shops can I
look in for that tape? Just need basic black, or something like that...

Thanks!

Get in touch with your local sailmaker (if you have one). They can be a real
asset. I get supplied with ristop scraps in good sizes and lots of colors,
self adeshive nylon and dacron tapes in several withs. All to very low prices.

If you mean the reinforcement tape for the leading edges and pockets, you
need Dacron tape not ripstop tape. It's available in several widths but
only one colour (black) and I havnt seen it anywhere but from kite shops.
