Installing Merge Mate

Provides step-by-step instructions for installing and maintaining HTML SlideShow Creator.
Back up Data
Before continuing ensure you have backed up you data. Consult your network administrator for more details on how to do this.
The HTML SlideShow Creator Installation Wizard
HTML SlideShow Creator uses an installation wizard to help you install and maintain the application. With the installation wizard, you can:
  1. Install HTML SlideShow Creator
  2. Repair a faulty installation
  3. Uninstall HTML SlideShow Creator
To start the installation wizard
Navigate to the saved location of HSSC.zip
Unzip HSSC.zip to a temporary folder.
Navigate to the temporary folder
Double click on Setup.exe
Installing Merge Mate
Before installing HTML SlideShow Creator, be sure that you system meets the following requirements.
  1. Pentium processor
  2. Windows 95,98 and Millenium Edition,Windows 2000, XP or higher
  3. 32 MB RAM for Windows 2000, XP:
  4. Disk Space for Windows 2000, and XP .
  5. 800 X 600 256 color monitor(1024 x 768, 32 bit color recommended)
  6. Mouse or other pointing device
To install HTML SlideShow Creator
  1. Start the installation wizard
  2. Click next
  3. Follow the steps on the screen
Repairing an Installation
If you encounter problems with HTML SlideShow Creator, you can use the installation wizard to repair you installation. The installation wizard reinstalls missing or corrupt files.
An easy way to acces the installer is from Add/Remove Programs.
Windows 2000
In Windows 2000, click Change to open Maintenance Mode. On some Windows 2000 systems, repair may occur automatically when HTML SlideShow Creator Launches.
Other Versions of Windows
In other versions of Windows, click Change/Remove to open Maintenance Mode.
To repair HTML SlideShow Creator
  1. Start the installation wizard
  2. Click next
  3. Follow instructions on the screen
Uninstalling HTML SlideShow Creator
This section describes how to remove all HTML SlideShow Creator Program files from your system.
  1. Click Start|Settings|Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  3. The Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog displays.
  4. Click [Install|Uninstall].
  5. In the Uninstall list box, click [HTML SlideShow Creator], then click Add|Remove.
  6. The Uninstall HTML SlideShow Creator dialog asking if you want to remove the directory and all of its subdirectories displays.
  7. Click [REMOVE]. HTML SlideShow Creator is removed from your computer and the registry file.
