I have been following this discussion for some time now with good reason. I
am using Visual Basic and am considering purchasing a C/C++ compiler for
use with VB.

Now I don't want to start any feuds ... if but those of you with an opinon
would be so kind as to tell me which/whose compiler I should consider
using, I would be very grateful. Also (if you don't mind) would you
suggest C or C++, I have written in both but on a UNIX machine. But what
would you recommend for use with Visual Basic.

Thanks
Howie
