Subject: [mSQL] Winsock API Available

Dean Fuqua's (fuqua@niehs.nih.gov) Winsock port of the mSQL client library
is available via ftp from Bond.edu.au in
/pub/Minerva/msql/contrib/winmsql.zip

There's the source for the library, a static link library and a sample
test program that uses the library. One thing to note is that it requires
an msql.ini file that isn't included in the zip file. After having a
hunt around the sources I tracked down the bits you need to define.
Something like the following

	[Server]
	IP=your.server.host.name
	Port=1112
	Username=YourUsername

This has to be contained in msql.ini in your windows directory. I've
included Dean's message to me below.

Happy hunting and remember, I'm not a windows head so please direct
comments or questions to either the list or Dean directly.

Bambi,
  I have put a copy of winmsql.zip in incoming. I need to make
a README for it but right now it's late and I have a 45 drive
home. See ya tomorrow. Please post to the mail list when it
is available, somebody wanted to know when it was there.

Thanks,
Dean Fuqua

P.S. I had mentioned that a async version is possible. Let me
     know whether this is needed or not.
