Troubleshooting for some modem

BZT modem
- do not work with 'ATZ' as init-string
  use only 'AT'
- DTE-speed: many modem work only with 19200 baud in fax-mode

Creatix LC144VF
- firmware 1.4 has many mistakes, no data-connect in voice-mode, bad
regognition of fax-calling-tone, no silence recognition even in firmware
  1.5

ZyXEL
- firmware 6.12 makes mistakes with 1496E if fax is received with 14400 bps
1496 EG and E+ or EG+ work without mistakes
- Firmware 6.13 ADCPM3 playback without sync does not work with 1496E

US Robotics
- S0 must be 255, if not, no automatic receive is possible

Smarty (R) 19.2 TI DNE 1126V.0.00.0622 Voice
- bad quality in ADCPM 2 and 3
- no play forward or play back of voice messages in these modi
- modem occures 'error' sometimes with 'ATV1'
- in voice mode the call can not be put back to the telephone
- when a message is played, no fax, data, or DTMF tones can be recognized

TKR TriStar, firmware 1.06
- DTMF tone 1 and 4 are not recognized
- no silence is recognized (same as creatix!)
- some frequency can not be created (512...555Hz, 768...811Hz and so on)
