Below are presented the most common and important transpositions to the DDG. The standard moves of the opening are in bold, a line that transposes to the DDG is in the normal font, and a rare, almost never played line is in italics. Be aware, your solid and peaceful opening may turn out to be the DDG!
The D31 variations of the QGD, in which Black plays a modest move c6 or Be7, thus avoiding the most critical lines, are splendid for an occasional DDGer.
