SPELL CHECK FOR EDIT BOXES (version 3.00) ----------------------------------------- Spell checker for edit boxes provides spelling checking from within any edit box on the system via a user customisable hot key. UK & US English, French and German dictionaries, custom dictionaries, undo, ignore all and most importantly a decent and now even faster auto suggest. Some errors in CAse are now also detected :-) and double double words. Custom dictionaries can be disabled, or made read only. They are fully editable, can be searched for suggestions and be configured to be language dependant. Blends more or less invisibly into any application which involves editing text. This program will work for instance with Newswin, WinCIM, MS Access, Free Agent, Agent, Eudora, Turnpike, MS Word, Notepad, BenMail, Pegasus, Netscape, Write, PFE, html editors. An option to show sample text around the error word has been added. Standard text format, Rich text and HTML clipboard formats are supported, with HTML being auto detected. For those using it to check email it is capable of ignoring commented text and can handle the a" o~ standard for converting accents to 7 bit ASCII. There are numerous interface improvements from the previous version, including the option of ctl3d and some very much improved dialog boxes. There are still too many options in the options box, but hopefully the changes will make it a bit clearer. The program seems to be suffering from creeping featuritous. The bad news: It is no longer completely free, commercial users will need to register. Private users can register if they wish and get a future proof registration code, see the help file. Requires Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or Windows NT.
