Thank you for your interest in ComSocks. This file includes the latest information 
before the release.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
>>>>YOU MUST UNINSTALL THE VERSION v2.5 BEFORE YOU INSTALL THIS NEW VERSION.
You can install the new version on the top of your existing v2.6x version

You may need to update the wsock32.dll file for Windows 95 from Microsoft (old wsock32.dll
will cause ComSocks crashing). If you are using Dial-Up Networking for Windows 95, 
you may want to update to version 1.3 (msdun13.exe).
You may need to install the standard Service Pack 4 (Sp4i386.exe) for Windows NT 
(please don't use the Auto-Install). 
Update your Windows system will guarantee the best compatibility and performance for
ComSocks. If you want to know the download site or what Windows version needs the 
update, please see the FAQ in our web.

HOW TO USE THE HELP FILE
   In help menu, click <Help Topics> or press F1 key.


A successful proxy setup depends on three steps: Network Setup, ComSocks Setup, 
and Client Proxy Setup.


ComSocks Setup Summary:

By default, ComSocks will select a proxy IP and enable DNS, HTTP, and SOCKS daemons.
You will need to verify that this is a correct IP address.
