"Eric's WSOCK32" translates a 16bit WINSOCK.DLL to 32bit address space.
WINSOCK.DLL comes from your internet provider.

WSOCK32 Installation 
---------------------

-  Copy WSOCK32.DLL from this package into the directory of your 32bit
   internet application, e.g. for Netscape, where NETSCAPE.EXE is located.

-  Copy the 16bit WINSOCK.DLL of your internet provider also into this
   directory.

-  Users of T-Online or Trumpet TCP/IP should add their online directory
   to their PATH.
   This is usually done in AUTOEXEC.BAT:
   e.g.:  PATH=%PATH%;c:\decoder     or      PATH=%PATH%;c:\trumpet

If you want to use WSOCK32 with the MS Internet Explorer 4, and you
have problems to get it to work, please have a look at FAQ.TXT first.




DNS Cache Installation
----------------------
   DNSCACHE.EXE is a utility you can optionally use to increase your
   speed in the internet.
   The effect is like an address book, which does update itself.
   If a searched network address is in the cache, it is not necessary
   to receive it from a DNS server.

-  Copy DNSCACHE.EXE into a central directory
   (e.g. into your personal tools directory - if you don't have any,
    into C:\WINDOWS)

-  For activation DNSCACHE.EXE has to be started  b e f o r e  your
   internet programms. Best is, you put it in your STARTUP group.
