officially released version of QuickTime for Windows 2.1.2 at

Description:
The QuickTime 3.0 Developer Preview Release installer encompasses
all of the latest digital media technology from Apple. On Windows
the installer includes:  QuickTime v3.0, MoviePlayer v3.0,
QuickTime VR v2.1 i  QuickTime Plug-In v2.0, QuickDraw 3D 1.5.4,
Sound Manager v3.3, Roland Sound Set for General MIDI and GS
Format. This release of QuickTime includes an instrument sound set
licensed by Roland Corporation that makes a complete General MIDI
compatible sound set.  It also includes additional sounds
necessary to make a complete GS Format compatible sound set. To

Instructions:
This software consists of a DOS self-extracting archive of DOS
files. To use, download it to your hard drive and then run it to
decompress the software.
