UniProt Release 2024_03

The UniProt consortium European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), SIB Swiss 
Institute of Bioinformatics and Protein Information Resource (PIR), 
is pleased to announce UniProt Knowledgebase (UniProtKB) Release 
2024_03 (29-May-2024). UniProt (Universal Protein Resource) is a 
comprehensive catalog of information on proteins.

UniProtKB Release 2024_03 consists of 245,482,527 entries (UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot: 
571,609 entries and UniProtKB/TrEMBL: 244,910,918 entries)
UniRef100 Release 2024_03 consists of 408,368,587 entries
UniRef90 Release 2024_03 consists of 190,555,818 entries
UniRef50 Release 2024_03 consists of 65,672,468 entries
UniParc Release 2024_03 consists of 782,438,918 entries, where 723,563,256 are active and 58,875,662 inactive
UniProt databases can be accessed from the web at http://www.uniprot.org and 
downloaded from http://www.uniprot.org/downloads. Detailed release 
statistics for TrEMBL and Swiss-Prot sections of the UniProt Knowledgebase
