FTP_GM - A File Transfer Program for TCP/IP

Installing FTP_GM:
1) Unpack using PKUNZIP the FTP_GM.ZIP file in a temporary location
ie: C:\TEMP).  The following files should be included:

    ftp_gm.ex_		Program
    README.TXT		Description
    LICENSE.TXT		Registration information
    ftp4w.dl_		FTP DLL
    setup.exe		Setup program used to install FTP_GM
    setup.lst		Used by setup.exe
    setup1.ex_		Used by setup.exe
    setupkit.dl_	Used by setup.exe
    threed.vb_		Extention used by FTP_GM
    ver.dl_		Extention used by FTP_GM


2) Run SETUP.EXE

3) Run FTP_GM.EXE


Description of FTP_GM
--------------------------
FTP_GM is a File Transfer Program (FTP) which uses TCP/IP to transfer 
files from your PC to another PC or host.  

Steps to use FTP_GM:

1- Run FTP_GM from the icon in Program Manager
2- Click on the File; Connect menu OR click on the connect icon:
   (the connect icon is represented by the network cable connection)
3- You are prompted with the following "Connect Session" prompts:

	Node:		enter node name or IP address of node
	UserID:		enter your user ID login name
	Password:	enter your password

4- Click on Login to connect

Once connected, FTP_GM will get a directory listing of the host you are
connected to.

Note: If FTP_GM cannot connect to the desired host, check the lower left
part of the FTP_GM screen for a message.  The message will give you enough
information to know why you can not connect.  Example of a message:

	host rejects userid/password

which means that the userID and password you used is not correct, or that
you do not have rights on that host while using that login ID.

This program is friendly with no nag screens. A registration fee 
of $12 U.S. ($15 Canadian) is requested, see license.txt for more 
information.
