1979 - British FF2000
1980 - British FF2000, 5th. 1st in Norfolk 
       part of BMW County championship.
       Won 1601-2300cc class of Willhire 
       24hrs at Snetterton
1981 - British Touring Cars (Audi), 
       F3-Debut Thruxton
1982 - British F3, 4th. 2 wins (Oulton 
       Park, Thruxton). Won Grovewood Award
1983 - British F3 against Senna, won 6 
       races, finished second. European 
       F3, 
       7th. 2 wins (Silverstone, 
       Donington). Won Austrian GP F3 race
1984 - 9 F1 races (Tyrrell) before 
       accident. Finished 5th first race
       (Brazil) and 2nd in Detroit. Points 
       disallowed as Tyrell
       disqualified for technical 
       infringement.
1985 - 16 races (Tyrrell). DNQ=1. 
       Sportscars (Jaguar), 3rd at Mosport
1986 - 16 races (Tyrrell), 8 points (5th 
       Brazil, UK, 6th Hungary,
       4th Australia), 11th in 
       championship.

       Won a race, and was leading series 
       until Dale Earnhardt put him into 
       a wall. 2nd in Daytona 24hrs 
       (Jaguar) in IMSA GTs.
