1989 - Karts: two times European Champion
1991 - Karts: Belgian Champion
1992 - F.Opel Lotus Benelux & Dutch 
       Champion (8 wins in 9 races). 
       2 wins in Formula Opel Euroseries 
       (both at Zolder. 4th at Spa), 7th
       Dutch Driver of the Year. New 
       Zealand Formula Atlantic, 4th, 3 
       wins
1993 - German F3 Champion (WTS Opel), 8 
       wins. Won F3 Masters race at 
       Zandvoort. NAV Driver of the Year. 
       3rd in Monaco F3 race
1994 - 10 F1 races (Benetton), 10 points, 
       10th in championship. Involved
       in large pit-blaze after refuelling
